Vonyse Reeder is an established multimedia specialist with a background in content development, web design, and coding. She has produced comedy segments for the“New Faces”of Jamie Foxx's Laffapalooza Comedy festival, as well as being an integral contributor to brand development & marketing for the festival. She has also created online content and webpages for such brands as The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Priority Records, Poison, Radiohead, Diana Ross, EMI, and more. In recent years Vonyse has become more involved with filmmaking. She composed the title track for the short film “Triple Minority” which Won Best Narrative International Lesbian Short Movie Award at the Annual LGBT Film Festival in Tel Aviv. She collaborated on a number of shorts, handling editing, music supervision and graphic design. Most recently Producing, editing and composing for the feature film “Quiet As Kept”, which won Best Narrative Feature & Best Filmmaker at the Americas Rainbow Film Festival in partnership with HBO. And screened at the Pan African Film Festival, Independent Filmmakers Showcase, Twin Cities Black Film Festival, and NewarkIFF.

“Being Less” marks the debut of Vonyse's own body of film work. Being Less is a semi-autobiographical look at coming to terms with spirituality and same sex love, in today’s age of social media. Being Less screened at the Newark International Film Festival. 

In her spare time Vonyse is a social media strategist/mentor for The Limitless Initiative, which is a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) based initiative. Its purpose is to bridge the educational resource gap by empowering urban students to master STEM national. While Vonyse has been with the initiative it has grown from one center to nine.
